Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - marrow bones (beef or mutton)
  • 4- 6 cups - water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2- Carrots
  • 6- 8- string beans
  • 1- medium size Onion
  • 1 -large Tomato chopped

How to Make Meat And Vegetable Broth

  • Wash and cut the carrots, beans, onion, tomato and any other vegetables of your choice into suitable sizes.
  • Place the bones and vegetables in a large vessel or pot.
  • Add sufficient water, salt and pepper and simmer on low heat for a least one hour or till the soup is quite thick and gives out a nice aroma.
  • Serve hot.
