Ingredients

  • Rice- 1 cup
  • Poha - 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour- 1 tbsp
  • Maida-1 tbsp
  • Semolina - 1 tbsp
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Medu Dosa

  • Soak rice and poha in water for 3 hours.
  • Drain and grind to make a smooth batter.
  • Add rice flour, maida and semolina to the batter and mix well.
  • Add a pinch of baking soda and salt to taste. Let it rest overnight.
  • Heat the tawa and pour small, palm-sized dosas. Do not spread. Cook both sides till done.
  • Serve with chutney or honey.
