Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Ricotta cheese(full fat)
  • 1/2 cup - Carrot (grated)
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 2 cups - Milk Powder(low fat)
  • 1/4 cup - Pistachios & Almond pieces
  • 1 tbsp - Butter.

How to Make Microwave Carrot Kalakand

  • Combine the ricotta cheese, sugar, milk powder and butter in a microwave safe bowl and blend them into a creamy paste.
  • Keep the microwave on a high temperature for 5 mins and cook this milk mixture. The mix will double in volume. Stir once and keep aside.
  • Meanwhile in another microwave bowl add a tsp of butter and grated carrot, and cook on high for 2 mins.
  • Now add the grated carrot to the cheese mixture and microwave on a high temperature for 15 mins until it turns brown at the edges.
  • Transfer to a flat dish and sprinkle the almonds and pistachio pieces on it.
  • Keep aside and let it cool.
  • Now cut into the desired shape.
