  • 5 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 cup - semolina
  • 1 to 1.5 cup - Sugar as per taste
  • 2.5 cup - water
  • Orange food colour
  • Cardamom powder
  • Cashew nuts
  • Raisins
  • How to Make Microwave Rawa Kesari (Semolina Halwa):

    1. Melt 1 tbsp of ghee on high for 1 minute.
    2. Add 2 tbsp each of cashew nut pieces and raisins, and cook for 1 minute. Remove to a plate and reserve.
    3. Melt one more tbsp of ghee in the same bowl.
    4. Mix in the semolina and cook on high for 2 mins, stirring once.
    5. Add sugar, remaining ghee, water and colour.
    6. Mix and cook without cover for 7-8 mins (stir 3 times). Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
    7. Add cardamom, fried cashew nuts, raisins and serve.
