How to Make Microwave Rawa Kesari (Semolina Halwa)

  • Melt 1 tbsp of ghee on high for 1 minute.
  • Add 2 tbsp each of cashew nut pieces and raisins, and cook for 1 minute. Remove to a plate and reserve.
  • Melt one more tbsp of ghee in the same bowl.
  • Mix in the semolina and cook on high for 2 mins, stirring once.
  • Add sugar, remaining ghee, water and colour.
  • Mix and cook without cover for 7-8 mins (stir 3 times). Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
  • Add cardamom, fried cashew nuts, raisins and serve.
