Ingredients

  • 2 cups - basmati Rice (or any other Rice)
  • 2 - Bay Leaves
  • 3 - Cardamoms
  • 3 - Cloves
  • 2 small pieces - Cinnamon
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup - Ghee
  • How to Make Mildly Spicy Ghee Rice:

    1. Heat ghee in a pan or rice cooker, fry the bay leaves and spices for some time.
    2. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a few minutes.
    3. Add the washed rice and stir fry for 3-4 minutes.
    4. Add salt and 4 cups of water and cook till the rice is done.
