Ingredients

  • 1tbsp of each Millet
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Pinch of Cumin Seeds
  • 1tsp oil / Ghee

How to Make Millet Khichdi

  • Soak all the millets overnight. And drain it.
  • Take a kadhai, add ghee or oil for tempering. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter. Add water to the tempering enough to cover the millets. Add salt to taste.
  • Bring it to boil. Add the soaked and drained millets.
  • Cook it till the millets are soft enough.
  • Serving suggestion: Serve it with a dash of ghee or have it with buttermilk.
