Ingredients

  • 100 grams - flour/maida
  • 100 grams - semolina/sooji
  • 1 cup - Milk
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 200 grams - Sugar
  • 1 tsp - Lime juice
  • 4 tbsp - oil

How to Make Miniature Pancakes In Sugar Syrup

  • Melt the sugar with 1 cup of water and 1 tsp vanilla essence over high heat till a fairly thick syrup is obtained.
  • Keep aside to cool.
  • Mix the flour, semolina, milk, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 1 tbsp sugar and salt to a smooth batter.
  • Heat oil in a flat pan.
  • Pour a spoonful of batter in the pan and spread a little.
  • Cook on both sides and then soak in sugar syrup.
  • Serve hot or cold.
