Ingredients

  • 10 - Green Chillies, finely chopped. (Note: Medium spicy. Chillies should be soft and light green in colour)
  • 3 tbsp - Grated Coconut
  • 2 - Capsicum, Finely chopped to the size of Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1 tsp - Mustard
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - Cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • How to Make Mirchi Pasanda:

    1. Heat oil in a kadai.
    2. Add mustard. After they splutter, add urad dal.
    3. As it turns light brown, add grated coconut. Stir for a few seconds.
    4. Add turmeric powder and stir.
    5. Add finely chopped green chillies and capsicum. Season with salt and saute for one minute on high flame.
    6. Reduce the flame and continue sauteing for another one minute.
    7. Transfer it to a serving dish. Serve with rice and dal or curd rice.
