  • 10 - Green Chillies, finely chopped. (Note: Medium spicy. Chillies should be soft and light green in colour)
  • 3 tbsp - Grated Coconut
  • 2 - Capsicum, Finely chopped to the size of Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 1 tsp - Mustard
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp - Cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder

How to Make Mirchi Pasanda

  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Add mustard. After they splutter, add urad dal.
  • As it turns light brown, add grated coconut. Stir for a few seconds.
  • Add turmeric powder and stir.
  • Add finely chopped green chillies and capsicum. Season with salt and saute for one minute on high flame.
  • Reduce the flame and continue sauteing for another one minute.
  • Transfer it to a serving dish. Serve with rice and dal or curd rice.
