Ingredients

  • 1 cup - besan (gram flour)
  • 1 cup- atta (whole Wheat flour)
  • 2 tbsp- oil or Ghee
  • 1 tbsp -kasoori Methi (dry Fenugreek leaves)
  • 1/2 tsp- salt
  • 1/2 tsp- Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp -jeera (cumin seeds)
  • 1 pinch - Hing (asafoetida)
  • 1 pinch - Haldi (turmeric powder)
  • How to Make Missi Roti:

    1. Mix all the ingredients.
    2. Add enough water to make a dough of rolling consistency.
    3. Cover it and keep aside for half an hour.
    4. Make small balls and roll them out slightly thicker than the usual chapatti.
    5. Cook on hot tawa with or without oil or in a hot tandoor.
