Ingredients

  • 110 gms - semisweet chocolate
  • 110 gms - butter
  • 75 gms - sugar
  • Plain Flour - 40 gms
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 tsp - vanilla extract (optional)

How to Make Molten Lava Cake

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
  • Melt the chocolate in a bowl sitting on top of simmering water. Once the chocolate is melted, take the bowl from the pan, add the butter and stir until the butter gets melted completely.
  • In a separate bowl beat the eggs, sugar and extract until pale and fluffy. Slowly add the chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and stir until it's combined.
  • Then sift the flour to this mixture and mix it together.
  • Grease 3 to 4 ramekins with butter, dust it with flour and cocoa powder. Pour the mixture into the ramekins equally.
  • Bake it in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Serve the pudding while they are still hot with some vanilla ice cream.
