Ingredients

  • For momos:
  • 1/2 tbsp - salt
  • 2 cups - flour (maida)
  • Water (enough to knead)
  • 1/2 - (boiled, boneless) Chicken (for non veg)
  • 1/2 - (grated) Cabbage (for veg)
  • For chutney:
  • 5-6 pieces - Red Chilli
  • 5-6 pieces - Garlic
  • Vinegar (enough to make it in liquid form)
  • Pinch of baking powder
  • How to Make Momos with Chilli Chutney:

    1. Make dough out of flour (maida), baking powder and water keep overnight.
    2. Next day, take tennis ball sized dough and roll it like chapatti.
    3. Cut pieces from it and fill with boiled chicken/cabbage and a bit of salt to taste.
    4. Steam the momos till the stickiness goes away (about 10 mins).
    5. For chutney:
    6. In a mixer mix red chilli, vinegar and garlic together till it forms a paste.
    7. Serve hot momos with chutney.
