Ingredients

  • For momos:
  • 1/2 tbsp - salt
  • 2 cups - flour (maida)
  • Water (enough to knead)
  • 1/2 - (boiled, boneless) Chicken (for non veg)
  • 1/2 - (grated) Cabbage (for veg)
  • For chutney:
  • 5-6 pieces - Red Chilli
  • 5-6 pieces - Garlic
  • Vinegar (enough to make it in liquid form)
  • Pinch of baking powder

How to Make Momos with Chilli Chutney

  • Make dough out of flour (maida), baking powder and water keep overnight.
  • Next day, take tennis ball sized dough and roll it like chapatti.
  • Cut pieces from it and fill with boiled chicken/cabbage and a bit of salt to taste.
  • Steam the momos till the stickiness goes away (about 10 mins).
  • For chutney:
  • In a mixer mix red chilli, vinegar and garlic together till it forms a paste.
  • Serve hot momos with chutney.
