How to Make Moong Dal Kesari

  • Dry roast the moong dal till a nice aroma rises.
  • Grind to a fine powder, sieve and set aside.
  • Fry cashew and raisins in a tbsp of ghee and keep aside.
  • In the same pan, heat water. To the boiling water, add sugar, saffron colour and the fried cashews and raisins.
  • Next, add the moong dal powder and the rest of the ghee and cook stirring continuously till the ghee separates.
