Ingredients

  • 3 cups - moong dal
  • 3 cups - sugar, ground
  • 2.5 cups - Ghee
  • A little Saffron and crushed dry fruits
  • 6 green cardamoms, powdered
  • How to Make Moong dal ladoos:

    1. Soak dal overnight and grind it coarsely.
    2. Heat the ghee and brown the dal till golden in colour. Keep stirring.
    3. Add the ground sugar to the dal. Add the crushed cardamoms and saffron dissolved in a little milk and finely crushed dry fruits. Wait till it cools.
    4. Add the remaining ghee in the dal and form into ladoos.
