  • 2 cups - pre-cooked rice
  • 2 cups - sweet curd
  • 2 tbsp - coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • 2 - whole red chillies
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • sugar to taste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - ghee for tadka

How to Make Mosaranna (Curd Rice)

  • Take the pre-cooked rice in a large bowl.
  • Heat ghee in a wok and add mustard seeds.
  • When the seeds splutter, add the red chillies, ginger-garlic paste and curd.
  • Pour the curd mixture over the rice, add salt and sugar to taste.
  • Add coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Serve with pickles and chutney.
