  • 2 bunches - mosundori leaves (Houttuynia cordata)
  • 1/2 cup - Mosur dal (Masoor lentil)
  • 1 pinch - Paas Phooron
  • 2 tsp - Garlic (crushed)
  • 2-3 - Green chillies
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Turmeric powder
  • Mustard oil
  • How to Make Mosundori Xaakor Suruha:

    1. Mix Mosur dal, Mosundori leaves, salt and turmeric powder together in a pressure cooker and boil in 3.5 cups water for 3 whistles.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and add Paas phooron.
    3. When the spluttering stops add crushed garlic and stir fry until the colour becomes reddish.
    4. Add the boiled ingredients to the pan and mix well.
    5. Add the green chillies and lemon juice.
    6. Serve hot.
