Ingredients

  • 2 cups - flour
  • 1.5 cups - milk
  • 2 tbsps - shortening (melted)
  • 2 tbsp - sugar
  • 2 tbsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - soda
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 tsp - salt

How to Make Muffins

  • Sieve flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
  • Beat together eggs and sugar. Add milk and shortening
  • Combine sieved ingredients and mix to make into a creamy consistency.
  • Spoon out on to greased patty tins and bake at 190 for 30 mins or until done.
