  • 100gm - wholemeal flour
  • 200 gm - strong white flour
  • 1.5 tsp - Yeast
  • 2 tsp - Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 2 tbsp - Butter (melted)
  • sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, Poppy Seeds - for sprinkling on top
  • 150 ml - warm Milk
  • 1 - Egg and little bit of Milk for Egg wash
  • How to Make Multi-seed Dinner Rolls:

    1. Combine all the ingredients except the seeds and the egg to form a smooth dough, then work the dough for 5 to 10 minutes by pulling and stretching.
    2. Place the dough in a clean bowl, cover it and allow it to swell to double its size.
    3. It will take about an hour.
    4. Now take the dough and punch the air out, don't knead it too much, shape it into round balls, stick it together, place it in a baking tray and allow it to rise for another half an hour.
    5. Meanwhile preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius
    6. Brush on top of the balls with egg wash, sprinkle it with seeds and bake it for 20 to 25 minutes.
    7. Serve it with a warm soup.
