Ingredients

  • 2 cups - chopped mushroom
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp - butter
  • 1/4 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1/4 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup - chopped celery
  • 1/4 tsp - basil
  • 1/4 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1/4 cup - chopped spring onion
  • Salt as per taste
  • 8 - fish fillets
  • For Garnishing:
  • 1/4 tsp - oregano
  • 2 cups - fresh bread crumbs

How to Make Mushroom Fish

  • Heat butter in a pan. Saute mushrooms till water evaporates.
  • Remove from fire and let it cook in its steam.
  • Add all the ingredients except the fillets.
  • Mix it well.
  • Put the fillets in a greased baking dish. Top with the mushroom mixture.
  • Garnish with breadcrumbs and oregano. Cover the dish with foil.
  • Bake at 300 C for 15 mins.
  • Remove the foil and bake again till the coating is golden brown and fillets are crisp.
  • Serve with ketchup and chips.
