  • To mix with water and make a thick batter:
  • 3/4 cup - corn flour
  • 1 tsp - rice flour
  • 2 tsp - gram flour
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder (or as required)
  • Colour - a pinch
  • Salt, to taste
  • Other ingredients:
  • 6 inch - ginger, chopped very thin
  • 1 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1 bulb - garlic, chopped very thin
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • 10 - green chillies, chopped very thin
  • Sauces:-
  • 1/2 cup - tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp - soya sauce
  • 1 tsp - white vinegar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Coriander, finely chopped
  • Oil, to fry
  • 1/2 kg - mushroom

How to Make Mushroom Manchuri

  • Heat oil in a heavy pan. Dip the mushroom (full or halved) in the thick batter, fry them and keep a side.
  • After a minute, put the fried mushroom in frying pan, fry them for a couple of minutes and strain.
  • Fry ginger and garlic paste for few seconds then add chopped ginger, garlic and chillies and fry in medium flame till raw smell goes. Do not brown them.
  • Now add all the sauces and salt together and boil it just for a second. Take away from the flame, add it to the fried mushroom and garnish it with coriander.
  • Serve hot.
