How to Make Mushrooms in Spicy Yoghurt Sauce

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the cumin seeds.
  • Then add the chopped onions and saute until soft.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste, the chopped tomatoes and the powders and mix well.
  • Let it cook until the oil separates.
  • Now add the chopped mushrooms and cook for 4 mins on medium flame.
  • When the mushrooms are half cooked, stir in the yogurt along with salt, and cover with a lid.
  • Let the mushrooms cook in the steam for 8-10 mins.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  • Serve with roti.
