Ingredients

  • 1 cup - peas
  • 20 pieces - fried paneer cubes
  • 1/2 cup - tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup - onions, finely chopped
  • 1 bunch - cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - jeera
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1.5 tsp - butter /oil

How to Make Mutter Paneer in tomato puree

  • Place a wok on a medium-hot stove.
  • Add 1 tbsp of butter. When it is hot enough, add the chopped onions and fry until they turn soft and golden brown in colour.
  • Then add the tomato puree and mix them well.
  • To this add garam masala, chilli powder and mix well.
  • Then remove them from the stove and let it cool.
  • When cold, put them in a blender, adding a very little water. Blend well and keep aside.
  • Heat some more butter and add jeera.
  • When jeera turns red, add the sauce and let it boil.
  • Now add the peas, paneer cubes and mix them well.
  • Add salt to taste and garnish it with cilantro.
