Ingredients

  • 1 cup - peas
  • 20 pieces - fried Paneer cubes
  • 1/2 cup - Tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup - onions, finely chopped
  • 1 bunch - cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Jeera
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1.5 tsp - Butter /oil
  • How to Make Mutter Paneer in tomato puree:

    1. Place a wok on a medium-hot stove.
    2. Add 1 tbsp of butter. When it is hot enough, add the chopped onions and fry until they turn soft and golden brown in colour.
    3. Then add the tomato puree and mix them well.
    4. To this add garam masala, chilli powder and mix well.
    5. Then remove them from the stove and let it cool.
    6. When cold, put them in a blender, adding a very little water. Blend well and keep aside.
    7. Heat some more butter and add jeera.
    8. When jeera turns red, add the sauce and let it boil.
    9. Now add the peas, paneer cubes and mix them well.
    10. Add salt to taste and garnish it with cilantro.
