Ingredients

  • 6 - Mutton chops
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Cloves - garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp - dried Fenugreek (Kasoori methi)
  • 2 tbsp - parsley, chopped
  • 50 g - Oatmeal
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
  • For Tomato and Coriander Salsa:
  • 1 cup - finely chopped Tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup - finely chopped Onions
  • 1 Clove - garlic, minced
  • 1 - green chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - freshly chopped coriander
  • 1 tbsp - red Vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Mutton Chops with Fenugreek:

    1. For tomato and coriander salsa:
    2. Place all the ingredients except salt in a food processor.
    3. Process until coarsely chopped and add salt to taste.
    4. Beat the chops and flatten them.
    5. Marinate in salt, pepper, garlic, fenugreek and a little oil for 5-8 hours and keep aside.
    6. Combine parsley and oatmeal in a plate.
    7. Dip and cover mutton chops in this mixture.
    8. Heat a flat griddle (tawa), sprinkle oil and grill mutton chops on it till done.
    9. Serve the chops with salsa.
