How to Make Mutton Kidney Chilli Fry

  • Chop the kidneys into halves. Clean well.
  • Pressure cook with 2 cups of water for 45 mins and reserve stock.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Toss the pressure-cooked kidneys into it.
  • Add chopped onions, tomatoes, chilli powder and turmeric powder. Stir-fry for a few minutes.
  • Add 1/4 cup of the reserved stock and simmer till the gravy thickens.
  • Sprinkle with salt and mix.
  • Serve hot with rice or rotis.
