Ingredients

  • 500 g - minced meat (goat or lamb)
  • 1 - chopped onion
  • 1/2 - tomato
  • 1.5 tsps - ginger and garlic paste
  • 2 tsps - red chilly powder
  • 2 pinches - turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • Cloves, bay leaves - as desired
  • 1 cup - cut vegetables (like cauliflower, potatoes and peas)
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tsps - oil

How to Make Mutton Kothu Curry

  • Heat the oil in a deep pan, add cloves and bay leaves.
  • Then add chopped onions and fry till the onions are golden brown.
  • To this, add the ginger and garlic paste and fry.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and the tomatoes. Fry for a while on medium fire.
  • Add the minced meat, keep stirring very slowly till all the masalas mix well with the meat.
  • Now add the cauliflower, peas and potatoes.
  • Add 3 medium glasses of water and salt as needed.
  • Let it cook well till the meat and vegetable get cooked.
  • Completely dry the water for dry dish. For gravy, remove it from gas before the water completely dries up.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chapatti, roti, naan or rice.
