  • Maida - 2 cups
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Soda - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil or Ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Warm milk - 1/2 cup
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Fresh yeast - 1 tsp

How to Make Naan & Kulcha (without eggs)

  • Mix maida, salt, baking powder and soda.
  • Add 2 tbsp of oil or ghee.
  • In a small bowl, combine the warm milk and curd.
  • Dissolve the sugar in it.
  • Add the fresh yeast and add this liquid to the maida mixture.
  • Add enough warm water to make a very soft dough.
  • Keep covered until it grows to double in volume.
  • Punch it down, knead till smooth.
  • Then make small balls, roll out into oval shaped nanas and cook on a hot tawa until both sides are done.
