Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup - Butter
  • 3/4 cup - ground Sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 tbsp - powdered Almonds
  • 1&1/4 cup - flour (maida)
  • 1/4 cup - Milk
  • 2 pears, peeled, sliced
  • 2 tbsp - almonds, finely sliced
  • For the custard:
  • 2 tbsp - plain custard powder
  • 4 tbsp - Sugar
  • 2 tsp Ginger powder
  • 2 tbsp - Butter

How to Make Nashpati badam ka mitha

  • Beat butter and sugar together till frothy.
  • Add eggs, one at a time.
  • Add almond powder, flour and milk gradually to make a thick batter.
  • Make custard by mixing powder with sugar and ginger.
  • Add milk and mix well so that there are no lumps.
  • Stir over heat till smooth and creamy.
  • Add the butter.
  • In a baking dish, pour the cooled custard.
  • Arrange pears over.
  • Pour cake batter on top and sprinkle sliced almonds.
  • Bake in a medium oven till golden and moist.
  • Serve with extra custard if you like (In that case, double the custard quantity)
