Ingredients

  • Chicken legs - 500 g (cleaned)
  • Onions - 4 (medium)
  • Garlic - 2 bulbs (peeled and ground to paste)
  • Ginger - 2 inch (paste form)
  • Garam Masala - 2 tsp
  • chilly (green) - 3
  • black pepper - 3 tsp (freshly powdered)
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Curry leaves
  • How to Make N'Robed Kerala Chicken Fry:

    1. Chop onions, garlic, ginger, chopped green chillies. Lightly fry in oil with mustard and curry leaves.
    2. Add salt, garam masala and pepper powder.
    3. Make a paste in a grinder.
    4. Score the chicken legs and rub them with the paste. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 mins.
    5. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a flat kadai and fry chicken legs at simmer till light brown.
    6. Garnish with onion rings and serve
