How to Make Nutritious Gawar

  • Pressure cook gawar up to one whistle and keep it aside.
  • Grind together the onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, and pomegranate seeds to a fine paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add the ground paste to it and fry for a few minutes.
  • Add the boiled gawar and the dry masalas to it.
  • Keep stirring till the oil separates.
  • Add 1/4 cup water and cook under pressure on a low heat for another 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with cashewnuts. Serve hot.
