How to Make Oat Topped Pear & Ginger Dessert

  • Place the pears in a shallow ovenproof dish, then sprinkle with the preserved ginger.
  • Pour the preserved ginger syrup over the pears.
  • Heat the molasses and sugar in a saucepan over gentle heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Spoon the mixture over the pears.
  • Bake in a pre heated oven, at 375 degrees C for 15-17 minutes until golden.
