Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Ricotta cheese (full fat)
  • 1/4 cup - Pistachio Powder
  • 1/4 cup - rolled oats
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 2 cups - Milk Powder (low fat)
  • A few Pistachio pieces
  • 1 tbsp - Butter + 1 tsp - Butter
  • How to Make Oats and Pistachio Kalakand:

    1. Take a Microwave bowl. Add the ricotta cheese, sugar, milk powder, pistachio powder and butter and stir them continuously until the cheese gets well mixed.
    2. Keep the Microwave on 'High' temperature for 5 minutes.
    3. The mixture may double in volume. Stir once.
    4. In another Microwave bowl, add a tsp of butter and rolled oats.
    5. Cook everything for 5 minutes on 'High' (stir in between).
    6. Add the cooked oats to the cheese mixture and cook again on 'High' for 15 minutes in Microwave oven.
    7. Transfer to a flat dish, sprinkle the pistachios pieces on the top.
    8. Keep aside and let it cool. Cut in any shape.
