  • 1 cup - Ricotta cheese (full fat)
  • 1/4 cup - Pistachio Powder
  • 1/4 cup - Rolled oats
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 2 cups - Milk Powder (low fat)
  • A few pistachio pieces
  • 1 tbsp - Butter + 1 tsp - Butter

How to Make Oats and Pistachio Kalakand

  • Take a Microwave bowl. Add the ricotta cheese, sugar, milk powder, pistachio powder and butter and stir them continuously until the cheese gets well mixed.
  • Keep the Microwave on 'High' temperature for 5 minutes.
  • The mixture may double in volume. Stir once.
  • In another Microwave bowl, add a tsp of butter and rolled oats.
  • Cook everything for 5 minutes on 'High' (stir in between).
  • Add the cooked oats to the cheese mixture and cook again on 'High' for 15 minutes in Microwave oven.
  • Transfer to a flat dish, sprinkle the pistachios pieces on the top.
  • Keep aside and let it cool. Cut in any shape.
