  • 2 cups - Cooked Rajma beans
  • 3 - Potatoes (cooked and mashed)
  • 1- Onion (big and chopped)
  • 3 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp - Fennel seed powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tbsp - Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • Salt
  • 3 tbsp - Corn flour
  • rolled oats (for crust)
  • Oil
  • How to Make Oats Crusted Rajma Balls:

    1. Heat a few drops of oil and saute the onions and green chillies along with fennel seed powder and coriander leaves until the onions turns translucent.
    2. Put off the stove and let them cook.
    3. Mash the cooked rajma beans. Take the mashed beans along with mashed potatoes, cooked onions, garam masala powder and salt.
    4. Mix well and make medium-sized balls from the mixture.
    5. Make a paste with corn flour and water, drop the balls in the corn flour paste and roll immediately in rolled oats.
    6. Finish all the balls and keep in fridge at least for an hour.
    7. Heat oil for Deep Frying. Once the oil gets hot, drop the oats crusted rajma balls and fry until the crust turns brown.
    8. Drain the excess of oil with a paper towel and serve hot with ketchup.
