  • 1 cup - Fresh Red Chillies
  • 1 - Tomato
  • 2 tsp - Tamarind Pulp
  • Salt
  • How to Make Oil-free tomato chilli pickle:

    1. Remove stalks of the red chillies, wash well and wipe each chilli with a clean kitchen towel or paper towel.
    2. The chillies should be dry with no moisture on them. Keep aside.
    3. Cut tomato into medium pieces and add these to the mixer along with the red chillies, tamarind pulp, salt and blend into a fine paste.
    4. Do not add any water to this pickle.
    5. As tomatoes already contain some water in them, it is enough to grind the pickle. Adjust salt.
    6. This pickle goes well with both rice and dosas.
