  • 2 - big Onions, or small Onions of an equal quantity
  • 2 - Tomato
  • 2 cups - thick buttermilk
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 1 cup - grated Coconut
  • Chilli may be increased according to the sore of the Butter milk
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • Kadukku
  • Fenugreek
  • 1 - Red Chilli
  • Curry leaves for thalikkal
  • How to Make Onion And Tomato Mor Kuzhambu:

    1. Take a kadai and pour some water.
    2. Add turmeric powder, salt, pieces of tomatoes and onions cook well.
    3. Add the butter milk, take precaution not to boil. Grind the coconut, green chillies and add it with the butter milk mixture.
    4. Heat through and remove from the stove.
    5. Pour one tsp oil, add kadukku, fenugreek, red chilli pieces and curry leaves. Add it in the mor kuzhambu.
    6. If needed, add one tsp sugar or jaggery.
    7. It can be served with rice, chapattis or with idli or dosas.
