Ingredients

  • 1 Cup- whole green moong dal
  • 1/4 cup- Raw Rice
  • 1 no- Onion
  • 4-6 nos- Green chillies
  • 1 tsp- Jeera
  • 1 inch- Ginger
  • 1/2 cup- Coriander leaves
  • some Curry leaves
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Onion Pesarattu:

    1. Soak moong dal and rice in water for at least 6 hours.
    2. After 6 hrs, grind everything (except curry leave) into slightly coarse batter .
    3. Add curry leaves to the batter
    4. Heat a tawa, make thin and crisp dosas.
    5. Pesarattu is ready.
    6. serve it with coconut chutney or dahi.
    7. If you don't want to grind onion, you can also cut it and put later.
