Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp - oil - Ghee
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups - cooked and cooled Rice
  • 1/2 tsp - salt (or to taste)
  • How to Make Onion Rice:

    1. Heat oil in a pan or karahi on medium heat.
    2. Add chopped onions and fry until deep pink colour.
    3. Add cooked and cooled rice and salt to taste.
    4. Mix all the ingredients well.
    5. Cover with a lid and cook on a low heat for 8 minutes.
    6. Open the lid and stir well continuously for 2 minutes. Serve hot.
