  • Oil for Deep Frying
  • For Dough:
  • 1 cup - whole Wheat flour
  • 1 cup - Maida
  • Salt to taste
  • Carom seeds - a pinch
  • 1 tbsp - for dough
  • Water
  • For filling:
  • 1 cup - finely chopped, Onion
  • 3/4 cup - poha, thin
  • 1 tsp - chat masala
  • 1/2 tsp - dry Mango powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 - green chillies, finely chopped
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • How to Make Onion Samosa:

    1. Filling preparation:
    2. Mix all ingredients mentioned.
    3. For Dough:
    4. Add all ingredients except water and mix well. Then add water little by little and prepare a stiff dough.
    5. Now keep it covered and let it rest for half an hour.
    6. Now make normal chapatti balls and roll into thin chapattis.
    7. Put it on a hot tawa. Don't cook it; just heat either sides so that it loses moisture.
    8. Now cut the chapatti sheet into 3-4 lengthy strips.
    9. Now add the filling on one end and fold them to form mini triangular samosas.
    10. Mix a little maida flour mixed with water and prepare glue to stick the end of the samosas prepared.
    11. Heat oil in a deep bottom pan and Deep Fried these samosas.
