  • 3-4 - medium-sized onions, chopped
  • 2 cups - Wheat flour
  • 2-3 tsp - sesame seeds, roasted
  • salt to taste
  • 1-2 - Green chillies
  • Red Chilli powder to taste
  • 1/4 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • oil to fry
  • lukewarm water
  • How to Make Onion Sesame Seeds Parathas:

    1. For the dough: Mix wheat flour, sesame seeds, finely chopped green chillies, garam masala powder, salt and red chilli powder.
    2. Add lukewarm water and prepare the dough.
    3. Add 1 tsp of oil and knead the mixture well. Keep the dough aside for 15-20 mins.
    4. Heat a heavy bottomed tawa.
    5. Roll the dough to small balls, flatten them using a little ghee, fold again and prepare the parathas.
    6. Fry the parathas both sides to make them crispy.
    7. Serve hot with butter, curd and pickles.
