Ingredients

  • 1 -oxtail chopped into medium size pieces
  • 4 -carrots peeled and chopped
  • 3- Onions chopped
  • 2 litres- water
  • 2 tsp - pepper powder
  • Salt
  • 2 tsp - Butter
  • 2 tsp - chopped Mint leaves
  • 2- Tomatoes chopped
  • 1- Green chilli
  • How to Make Ox Tail Soup:

    1. Heat the butter in a suitable pan or crock pot.
    2. Fry the onions and carrots till light brown.
    3. Add the tomatoes and saute for a few minutes till pulpy.
    4. Now add all the other ingredients and sufficient water.
    5. Cook on high heat for some time, then simmer on low heat till the soup is thick and the oxtail is tender and soft.
    6. Serve with fried bread.
