Ingredients

  • 1 -oxtail chopped into medium size pieces
  • 4 -carrots peeled and chopped
  • 3- onions chopped
  • 2 litres- water
  • 2 tsp - pepper powder
  • Salt
  • 2 tsp - butter
  • 2 tsp - chopped mint leaves
  • 2- tomatoes chopped
  • 1- green chilli

How to Make Ox Tail Soup

  • Heat the butter in a suitable pan or crock pot.
  • Fry the onions and carrots till light brown.
  • Add the tomatoes and saute for a few minutes till pulpy.
  • Now add all the other ingredients and sufficient water.
  • Cook on high heat for some time, then simmer on low heat till the soup is thick and the oxtail is tender and soft.
  • Serve with fried bread.
