Ingredients

  • 2 cup - Rice flour
  • Salt - to taste
  • Gram Dal - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 4 tsp
  • Cardamom - 3
  • Milk - 500 ml
  • How to Make Paal Kozhakattai:

    1. Take rice flour, add salt and make a fine dough with water.
    2. Shape dough into small kozhukattais.
    3. Steam them till done.
    4. Meanwhile, soak gram dal in water for 1 hour and boil separately.
    5. Heat milk, add sugar and cardamoms.
    6. Then add in the kozhakattais and gram dal.
    7. Cook on low heat for some time.
    8. Then keep aside to steep for 1/2 hour.
    9. Serve.
