Ingredients

  • 2 cup - rice flour
  • Salt - to taste
  • Gram Dal - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 4 tsp
  • Cardamom - 3
  • Milk - 500 ml

How to Make Paal Kozhakattai

  • Take rice flour, add salt and make a fine dough with water.
  • Shape dough into small kozhukattais.
  • Steam them till done.
  • Meanwhile, soak gram dal in water for 1 hour and boil separately.
  • Heat milk, add sugar and cardamoms.
  • Then add in the kozhakattais and gram dal.
  • Cook on low heat for some time.
  • Then keep aside to steep for 1/2 hour.
  • Serve.
