Ingredients

  • 2 - Maize soft Corn
  • 25 g - green coriander
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt according to taste
  • 5 ml - oil
  • 1 litre - water (for poaching)

How to Make Pacholey (Steamed Corn)

  • Grind corn to rough paste.
  • Chop green coriander and green chilli finely and add to the corn paste.
  • Add lemon juice, salt and mix well. Grease two maize skin/peels.
  • Put the mixture in the greased peels. Wrap in aluminium foil and seal with thread.
  • Poach in boiling water till done. Take out from water.
  • Unpeel and cut into pieces and serve hot.
