Ingredients

  • 1 kg - Chicken
  • 4 cups - palak, chopped
  • 2 - onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1.5 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - dhaniya powder
  • 1 tsp - Jeera powder
  • 2 tsp - Tamarind pulp
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric
  • How to Make Palak Chicken:

    1. Wash chicken pieces and marinate with salt, chilli powder, dhaniya powder, turmeric and ginger garlic paste.
    2. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion and fry light brown in colour.
    3. Then add the chicken pieces and fry for 2 mins.
    4. Add palak to the chicken and mix well.
    5. Add tamarind pulp, then add a 1/2 cup water mix well and let it cook till done.
    6. Serve with rice or roti.
