Ingredients

  • Palak - 1 bunch
  • Paneer - 1/4 kg
  • Onions - 2, large
  • Tomatoes - 3, large
  • Oil/Ghee - 5 tbsp
  • Garlic paste - 2 tsps
  • Ginger paste - 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder (roasted) - 3 tsps
  • Big elaichi - 1
  • Cinnamon - 1-inch stick
  • How to Make Palak Paneer - Pressure cooked:

    1. Pressure cook the palak with 1 or 2 green chillies and puree it.
    2. Cut the paneer into cubes and soak it in turmeric water.
    3. Take a cooker and heat oil. Add both the whole spices and fry until it crackles.
    4. Add the finely chopped onions, the garlic-ginger paste and saute until brown.
    5. Now add the chilli and coriander powder and fry for 2-3 mins. And serve.
