Ingredients

  • 10 - big leafs of Palak (spinach)
  • 3 - medium sized potatoes, boiled and mashed thoroughly
  • 1 - green chilli, chopped finely
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp - dry coriander powder
  • 2 tsp - chat masala powder
  • 2 tbsp - green coriander, finely chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • For batter :
  • 1 cup - besan.
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Ajwain - 1/4 tsp
  • Red Chilli powder- 1 tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • A pinch - baking soda

How to Make Palak Rolls

  • Wash the palak leafs and allow them to dry.
  • Mix besan, water and masalas together to make a thick batter.
  • Mix mashed potatoes and all masalas thoroughly and divide it into 8-10 parts.
  • Take palak leaf and put one part of masala on it, flatten it and roll out the leaf.
  • Dip the leaf in the batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
