Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb - shrimp (approx 20 pieces)
  • 2 tsp - tandoori masala
  • 2 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp - salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder, or to taste
  • How to Make Pan Seared Shrimp:

    1. Wash and de-vein the shrimp, keeping the tail on or off.
    2. Mix remaining ingredients with the shrimp and let it marinate for minimum 1/2 hour.
    3. Heat a skillet on high heat and add about 1/2 tsp of oil. Allow oil to heat.
    4. Add the shrimp, cover and let them cook for about 2-3 mins.
    5. Remove cover and flip the shrimp over. Cook for another 2-3 mins.
    6. Shrimp should get a little caramelized/seared.
    7. Serve immediately.
