Ingredients

  • 300g - cottage cheese (paneer cubes)
  • 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
  • 1/2 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1 red pepper (chopped)
  • 1 green pepper (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup - cooked rice
  • For chilli sauce:
  • 1/2 tsp - red chillies (ground)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tbsp - fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp - sugar
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • 2 tsp - corn flour
  • 3/4 cup - water
  • 1 tsp - green chillies (chopped)
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Paneer kebabs with chilli sauce

  • Combine the paneer, garlic, ginger and salt and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  • Thread the paneer and the red and green peppers alternately on skewers.
  • Brush with oil and grill till golden on all sides.
  • Serve on a bed of rice with the sauce.
  • For Chilli Sauce:
  • Grind together coriander leaves, red chillies, green chillies, and garlic along with the lemon juice and sugar.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add the chilli mixture and cook for a few seconds.
  • Blend the corn flour in the water and stir into the chilli mixture.
  • Add salt and cook till the sauce starts boiling and becomes thick.
  • Remove from fire and serve with the paneer kebabs and rice.
