Ingredients

  • 250 g - paneer-grated
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1.5 tsp - Sugar
  • 1/2 cup - tomato-freshly pureed
  • 1 tsp - Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp - Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - Kashmir chilli powder
  • 1.5 tsp - salt
  • 1 cup - green peas-shelled
  • 1 cup - hot water
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • coriander for garnish
  • How to Make Paneer Korma Mattar Wala:

    1. Place 1.5 tsp ghee, cumin and 1 tsp sugar in a dish and mix well. Cook covered at high for 1 minute.
    2. Mix in the paneer and cook at high for 5 mins, stirring once.
    3. Add tomato and salt, keep aside covered till required.
    4. In another dish, mix the remaining ghee with ginger-garlic paste and then cook uncovered at high for 1 minute.
    5. Add chilli powder, turmeric, salt, the 1/2 tsp sugar, 1-cup hot water and the peas.
    6. Mix well and cook at high for 5 mins, then at 70% for 8 mins or till the peas are cooked.
    7. Do not cover and cook as the peas will get discoloured.
    8. Mix in the paneer mixture and cook uncovered at 70% for 5 mins.
    9. Serve garnished with the garam masala and the coriander.
