How to Make Paneer Mutter Masala

  • Cut paneer into small pieces.
  • Boil onion for 5-7 minutes and grind to a smooth paste. Puree the tomatoes.
  • Heat oil in a kadai, fry the paneer till golden brown and keep aside.
  • In the same oil, season kasuri methi.
  • Add the onion paste and saute for few minutes.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, tomato puree and saute till the raw smell goes.
  • Now add all powders except jeera powder and garam masala powder. Saute till the oil separates.
  • Add a cup of water and add green peas. Cook for 5 minutes. Then add paneer, salt and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Add fresh cream and cook in low heat for 2 minutes.
  • Put the butter on top and stir.
  • Add garam masala powder, jeera powder and switch off.
  • Stir and serve hot with naan, roti and parathas.
