  • 1/2 cup - Paneer/cottage cheese (grated)
  • 3 - Potatoes, medium-sized (parboiled)
  • 1/2 cup - Onions (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp - Green chillies
  • 3/4 cup - Cheese (grated)
  • 2 tbsp - Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Paneer Potato rosti

  • Peel the potatoes and grate coarsely or slice them.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper on top and keep aside.
  • Melt the butter in a large frying pan and saute the onions until pink.
  • Add the green chillies, cheese, paneer and cook on a low fire for 1 minute.
  • Now spread the potatoes on the mixture in the pan.
  • Cook until crisp and brown.
  • Cut along the edges with a knife.
  • Remove the pan from fire and invert it on a plate in one piece.
  • Now cut into wedges and serve hot.
