Ingredients

  • 250 g - paneer, grated
  • 1.5 cup - mashed Potato
  • 1/2 cup - Shallots (small onions), peeled and chopped fine
  • 2 tbsp - roasted peanuts, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp - ginger, minced
  • 2 tsp - curry powder
  • 2 tsp - soya sauce
  • 2 tbsp - Maida
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1/2 cup - dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup - sesame seeds
  • oil to shallow fry
  • How to Make Paneer Sesame Patties:

    1. Mix all the ingredients well together (except bread crumbs, sesame and oil) and divide the mixture into 12 portions.
    2. Shape each portion into 1/2-inch thick discs.
    3. Mix bread crumbs with sesame seeds and place on a wide plate.
    4. Roll the patties in this mixture.
    5. Heat a non-stick fry pan and fry the patties on both sides with a little oil.
    6. Serve hot with a sweet and sour sauce.
