Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp - Wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp - fresh Curd
  • 1/2 tbsp - cooked Rice
  • 2 pinches Red Chilli powder(optional)
  • 3 pinches cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Pareb:

    1. Take rice in a clean pan.
    2. Add curd and flour.
    3. Beat well with a fork.
    4. Add 1-1/2 cups water.
    5. Add salt, chilli powder and mix well.
    6. Cook while stirring continuously.
    7. When in starts boiling, simmer for 5 mins.
    8. Sprinkle cumin powder and mix.
    9. Stir occasionally. It should be smooth and thick with grains of whole rice.
    10. Serve porridge warm to kids and steaming hot to adult patients.
